Chickasaw Plum – 3gal

(prunus angustifolia) 15’- 30’

Found naturally throughout the Southeast on fencerows, hedgerows, and old home sites. Beautiful flowers in the spring turn to ripe fruit by mid-May. This suckering tree will form dense thickets providing food and nesting habitat for game birds.  These are the plums your Grandmother made jelly from and your Grandfather used for his wine making.
